At the end of May, a training course entitled “Fundamentals of Lean Manufacturing. Economics Module” was organized for employees of both shifts of the mine. The seminar was prepared and conducted by the Planning and Economic Department under the leadership of the head Elena Vladimirovna Belashova. The classes were held directly on the territory of the enterprise. The seminar was attended by the mine director, chief engineer, deputy heads of departments and sections; heads of sections and departments, leading specialists and specialists. The program covered the following topics: — Principles of Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen in industrial enterprises; — Fundamentals of Economic Analysis and Types of Financial Reporting; — Block “Practical Economics”; Particular attention was paid to cost estimates of responsibility centers, principles of their formation and analysis. The training was held in the format of an active dialogue, with real examples from the current activities of the enterprise. The knowledge gained will form the basis for further improving the efficiency of production and management processes.
